Colored Smoke in Phuket

Add a burst of colored smoke in Phuket to your ceremony and turn one frame into the photo everyone remembers. Each box releases a tall fan of coloured powder smoke that hangs above the arch for a few seconds - long enough for your photographer to catch it from several angles. We match the colours to your arch, your bouquet and your palette, place the boxes with your photographer on the spot, and fire them on cue. Smoke bombs work in daylight, so they fit the ceremony itself or a separate colored smoke photoshoot - for the dark half of the evening, see our fireworks and fire show.

One smoke box
4,000 THB

The price is for one box. The photo shows six boxes in different colours - that is 24,000 THB.

Frequently Asked Questions

4,000 THB per box, whatever colour you choose. One box gives one fan of smoke, so the total simply follows the number of boxes - six boxes for the full rainbow over the arch come to 24,000 THB.

Nine shades in two families - warm (red, pink, orange, yellow) and cool (green, light blue, blue, purple) - plus white and multicolour boxes that release several colours at once. We confirm the exact set when you book, after we have seen your arch and palette.

One or two boxes are enough for an accent beside the arch. For the wide rainbow fan you see in our photos we use five to six boxes fired together. Anything in between works too - we plan the layout around the frame your photographer wants.

During the day - at the ceremony itself or during the wedding photoshoot. Colour reads properly against daylight and sky. After sunset the smoke turns grey on camera, so for the evening we recommend fireworks instead.

Wind carries the smoke away, which is why the boxes are positioned upwind of the arch and fired on the photographer cue. We judge this on the spot on the day - a steady breeze usually means moving the boxes further out rather than cancelling.

The boxes stand several metres away from the couple and fire upward, so the powder disperses well above the arch. Keeping that distance is part of the setup - it is also what makes the fan look tall and even in photos.

Yes. Colored smoke is agreed with the venue and your coordinator in advance - most Phuket beaches and resorts allow it, some ask for a specific spot or time window. We handle that conversation as part of the booking.

Each box burns for roughly a minute, with the tall, dense fan in the first 15-20 seconds. That is the window your photographer shoots - which is why the launch is timed with them rather than with the ceremony script.

It suits small ceremonies especially well. With no crowd in the frame, one or two boxes fill the whole background - a popular addition to a mini wedding or a marriage proposal on the beach.

Yes - the fan opening in slow motion is one of the strongest shots of the day. Add wedding videography or drone filming, and we will time the launch so both cameras are ready.

Two to three weeks is usually enough, and longer in high season, so that the colours you want are in stock and the venue has confirmed the spot. Smoke can also be added to an existing booking if there is still time to order the boxes.

The boxes are handled by our team, never by guests, and are placed away from seating with the wind taken into account. Guests watch from the ceremony area while the smoke rises well above head height.

Add colored smoke to your Phuket ceremony

Tell us your date, your venue and the colours of your decor, and we will plan the colored smoke around the shot you want - how many boxes, where they stand and when they fire. Pair it with a wedding photoshoot or videography and the whole sequence is covered by one team.
