The main religion of the kingdom is Buddhism, but nothing terrible will happen if Orthodox newlyweds celebrate their own wedding in the company of Buddhist monks and participate in some rituals. Of particular interest is the largest temple in Phuket, Wat Chalong, where a symbolic wedding ceremony takes place, at which Buddhist monks read prayers and shower blessing and good wishes. In turn, the newlyweds give them gifts (provided by the agency). After that, the union of the newly-made spouses is sealed. Then there is another ritual - "marriage ties". The Elder carrying him simply connects the newlyweds of the head and wrist with a thread. And connected with "marriage ties", with garlands on their necks, they begin to receive congratulations and gifts from their relatives and friends. The final stage is the watering of hands over the silver cup, at the bottom of which are the petals of roses. Subsequently, this water is watered by plants in a flowering garden.
